I would experience a break out and congestion a few days before every exam. My immune system was on the floor! Taking care of yourself during stressful times is crucial to success. Every morning, I make sure to take my vitamins. I get mine delivered by Care/of . I had help selecting which vitamins are most beneficial for me from my primary care physician. On exam week, I take a daily honey lemon shot. This is four teaspoons of honey and four teaspoons of lemon. This is what my family does for immune support. Please contact a physician before using this remedy.
To tackle acne flare ups, I had a skin care routine set up for me by @RealSkinTalk and a dermatologist. Please note that @RealSkinTalk is an aspiring physician and former employee of my dermatologist. She gives great skin care tips but you should always consult a board-certified dermatologist before trying any recommendations as I did. If you are struggling with stubborn acne, you may also want to see if it is hormonal.
Additionally, go for a walk or participate in some sort of physical activity to destress and prevent burnout! Sometimes, coming back to something with a clearer mind helps us see things differently to find the right answer. I also find it important to talk to people and let your feelings known to others. Many of my classmates were going through the same things I was experiencing and it was comforting to know I was not alone. We also motivated each other to continue studying and helped each other when difficult questions came up.
Lastly, take breaks while studying and give yourself something to look forward to after the exam. My go to is trying a new restaurant. I love going to new places and trying new things!
